The NeroHero helmet was designed by Ignazio Bernardi, with technical guidance, from among the most prominent helmet developer in Italy.
The result of this collaboration is a unique, highly aerodynamic, state-of-the-art helmet. Components of the NeroHero Full Carbon helmet features a high-modulus carbon fiber shell and high-density polystyrene, to guarantee optimal standards of safety. The shell of this helmet combines low weight with strength.
Visors: Visors included with this helmet offer UV protection and are made of polycarbonate with anti-scratch and anti-fog treatment. There are three color choices - transparent, tinted brown, and mirror.
Sizing: The helmet includes 3 sets of 8 internal padding pieces and 3 sets of chin padding pieces of different thicknesses, so that you can be sure to attain a perfect fit simply by changing all or some of the padding pieces. The helmet size denotes the inner circumference of the internal padding. There are 2 shell sizes: a regular version for head circumferences from 56 cm to 60 cm, and a larger version for head circumferences from 61 cm to 62 cm. There are five available sizes across the two shell formats. The size number corresponds to the head circumference in centimeters.

Helmet Safety: Hang Gliding, paragliding, and other extreme sports are dangerous. Helmets provide a degree of protection, but nothing is 100 percent when engaged in sports.
The European Union (EU) has sport specific helmet certification standards. Each sport has its own characteristics; therefore, the design of the corresponding helmet is specifically tailored to their relevant EU safety requirements. This includes EN 966 for free flight sports such as hang gliding and paragliding; and EN 1077 for snow sports. All Icaro2000 helmets are tested and certified by CSI, an independent testing company recognized and authorized by the EU. All Icaro2000 helmets are designed and manufactured in Italy.
